Will I Lose Weight?

As many people do at this time of year, I’ve decided to try and lose a bit of weight. I’m not one for salads and grilled chicken every day, nor do I want to eat cabbage soup or become a follower of Dr. Atkins.

So my diet / weight loss regime is going to happen in 3 ways. Firstly, I am going to run 3k twice a week. This should be ok as I’m fairly active already. Time will be the issue. Secondly, I’m going to eat a little more sensibly. I’m not an unhealthy eater as it is, but there’s certainly scope for fewer takeaways (and pints of beer!). Thirdly I’m going to try using an off-the-shelf weight loss aid. I’ve decided to try using something called Nuratrim.

There is no logic as to why I chose Nuratrim other than when I searched the web for products last week, it was popping up everywhere, so I assume it must be quite popular. I’ve only bought a month’s supply at the moment as I don’t want to waste money on something if it doesn’t work! They cost me £34.95 which I bought online direct from their website www.nuratrim.com

Weight Loss Progress

I weighed in today (31st December) and the scales showed 15st 1lb or 94.6kg (which is easier to show on a graph). My target is 13st 7lbs by the end of June 2012. I will weigh in once a week and keep a log of my progess, which will reachable through the links on the left of this page.

So What Is Nuratrim?

My Nuratrim

Nuratrim is marketed as a calorie burner than can cut your daily calorie intake by upto 20%. It differentiates itself from other products on the market by it’s unique ingredient formula, which is claimed is not found in the same combination in any other weight loss supplement or diet pill.

How true this is, I don’t know, as I’ve not looked into it. What’s for sure, is all diet pills make their own claims of being the best etc. So long as they work and I’ve not wasted my money, I don’t care!

The marketing spiel says that Nuratrim will help me to :-

  • Burn calories quicker
  • Speed up my metabolism
  • Help me to stop snacking and eat less
  • LOSE WEIGHT  (really??)

Well, the proof is in the pudding as they say (no pun intended), so come tomorrow morning   it’s operation weight loss.

As it’s New Year’s Day tomorrow, the first run may have to be delayed 24 hours ;-)
